Transitioning??!

Transition advice:

Congrats on your natural hair journey! It's difficult at first because natural hair is treated completely different from relaxed. Never comb or brush while its dry. Only while wet and loaded with conditioner. Use a wide tooth comb first and then if needed, a Denman brush to prevent breakage. (You'll still have some) When washing your hair, you want to be gentle and not create more tangles. You can even try Detangling first with a spray bottle mixed with conditioner and then putting your hair in large braids. Then washing and rinsing in the braids to keep the tangles away. It's important to use a good leave in conditioner, weekly deep conditioning treatments, and hair cream/butter on your natural hair too. Then style in ways that blend the two textures: braidouts, rollersets, bantu knot-outs, etc. Youtube has thousands of videos on how to do these styles. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have more questions!
