Hello everyone! I hope everyone is having a prosperous new year and still enjoying your hair journey! I know I am! I have been very blessed! I was sent some products from Hannah, founder of Sienna Naturals. Sienna Naturals is a natural personal care company that is featured in Curlbox, Birchbox, and recently on Buzzfeed.com. These products are made with naturally derived ingredients and are free of harsh chemicals or toxins (such as Parabens, SLES and SES). It includes ingredients like Baobab Oil and Shea Butter. These products are made with ingredients known for their ability to decrease Eczema and improve the health of skin and hair!
I tried the Baobab Oil Moisturizing Hair and Body Shampoo, Baobab Oil Moisturizing Leave-in Conditioner, and the Baobab Oil Moisturizing Body Cream.
I thought the shampoo did what a shampoo is supposed to do. I rarely use shampoo but when I do, I prefer one like this. It has great "slip" meaning it leaves the hair slippery and helps with finger detangling. It has a pleasant, light floral scent and left my hair squeaky clean but not dry and too stripped. I followed the shampoo up with the leave-in. It was light, creamy, and also had a light, floral scent. I felt that the leave-in did its job as well. It is very thick like I prefer and mixed well under the gel that I used for my wash and go (Xtreme Wetline). My hair felt moisturized and soft! After showering for the last couple days, I've been using the body cream and it has left my skin moisturized. It is a tad light as I prefer body butters. But the product says it is a cream and it behaves as a cream should. It leaves a slight film at first but it quickly dissolves. Overall I enjoyed it. The smell is slightly earthy and mild. I really dont have any negative to say about these products! They did exactly what they promised! I am definitely going to purchase the shampoo! (not sure why I look mad but I assure you I was not! LOL)
Peace & Blessings,
